Why am I just hearing about this type of treatment now?

Sublingual Immunotherapy (SLIT) is the default treatment throughout most of Europe (with 90% of immunotherapy patients in France using SLIT vs. allergy shots).

In Canada, this effective & convenient form of allergy immunotherapy treatment has not been widespread due to the inefficiencies in our healthcare system. For many patients, immunotherapy is not covered by public healthcare.

This misalignment of incentives in the Canadian system hinders access to effective allergy treatment for Canadians & places a larger burden on our overall healthcare system by shifting the default emphasis to symptom control rather than disease prevention.

Biscuit Health is hoping to change this by bringing this convenient & accessible solution to every Canadian using the power of technology.
