How To Administer Your Drops
Prime the pump by pressing down firmly and quickly a few times until some solution comes out. The pumps are created to administer a metered dose. The metered dose will dispense when the pump is pressed all the way down (you will meet some resistance at the end). If you experience any issues with your pumps, please reach out to the care team via the Biscuit Health mobile app.
Place the pump under your tongue and firmly press down the pump to administer a drop. 1 pump = 1 drop.
Hold the drop under your tongue for 2 minutes and then swallow.
Dosage & Phases
Overview:
You'll go through 2 phases of treatment throughout your journey; build-up & maintenance.
Build Up — The purpose of the build-up phase is to introduce your body to immunotherapy while reducing potential minor side effects. The build-up phase lasts 30 days and you will need your GREEN + YELLOW + RED bottles for this phase.
Maintenance — This is the bulk of your immunotherapy treatment. After 30-days, you will need to consistently use the RED bottles to continue your treatment until the end date determined by your clinician (usually 1-2 years). It is imperative you minimize missed dosages, as extended periods of misses doses may require you to start again with another build-up, slowing down your treatment and reducing efficacy.
Day 1-30: Build-Up Phase
This phase will last 30 days, and you will need your GREEN, YELLOW & RED bottles. Hold onto your empty bottles for recycling, your next shipment will include a return label.
